Who can volunteer with Rosalie Hall?

Anyone 18 and older—students, professionals, retirees or community groups—is welcome. No prior experience is required; we provide all necessary training and support.

How does your organization assess the performance of volunteers who have ongoing roles or direct contact with persons served?

Volunteers involved in ongoing assignments and volunteers who have contact with persons served go through a formal evaluation of their performance at least annually, and the results of the evaluation are documented.

What is the time commitment for volunteers?

Most roles require a minimum of 2–4 hours per week. Special events and Days of Service can be a one-day commitment. Flexible schedules ensure you can give what you can.

Do I need a background check?

Yes. All volunteers working directly with youth or children must complete a vulnerable sector police check and confidentiality agreement before starting.

Is volunteer parking or transit provided?

Rosalie Hall is transit-accessible via the TTC. Limited on-site parking is available—please discuss your needs with our Volunteer Coordinator when you apply.
